Mise-en-scene video feedback and learner response

 1) Type up your feedback from your teacher in full.

.Really good central performance - placement , movement . Other performances are a little weaker in terms of expression ( casting but good for costume for Rocky character .

. Biggest issue here is setting : a boxing ring would be challenging but actually a multi-storey car park might of recreated this scene nicely .

. In terms of editing and audio , continuity and music are EBIs (suddenly coming in then disappearing )

2) Type up a summary of the feedback you have had from the rest of the class - bullet points is fine.

WWW:

.Good acting

.Good props

EBI :

.Improve lighting

.Improve audio editing

3) Use all the feedback you've been given to write your own self-assessment of your video using WWW (What Went Well) and EBI (Even Better If...)

After taking into account the feedback I have received I understand that me and my actors had good performances and displayed the right tone of speech alongside characterising upon similar placement as to the original scene which it had been recreated on . I had also discovered that the props and costumes used in the recreation were presented as respectable . However it has been stated that the recreation could've been improved on . Many said the setting should have been changed alongside darker lighting being in place as well as improved and cleaner quality .

4) Now reflect on your own work in more detail. How did your planning (script, shot list) help clarify and develop your ideas?

My script helped me be comfortable upon performing the act as i had learnt my sayings and i had watched the original clips many times so i had understood actor placement and movement .

5) Thinking technically, how could you improve your work for future videos? (E.g. filming, editing, audio levels etc.)

I need better camera and audio quality alongside smoother editing .

6) Finally, what have you learned regarding the importance of mise-en-scene in film and television? Write a paragraph to answer this.

From the mise-en-scene recreation task I have taken into account a lot of information and have further built on my knowledge held within the topic of mise en scene and television . Upon seeing my own production I have learnt that CLAMPS have a high significance in the world of television . All costume , lighting ,actor placement/movement , makeup , props and setting are key in production and will always demonstrate high meanings to any audience . Therefore it is necessary for them to be focused upon .
